ABOUT OUR OFFICE
Dr George Jakubovic received his Dental Degree in April 1973. After associating for about 2 years, he opened his own office when Hillcrest Mall opened in October 1974. At that time, Richmond Hill was a small town and the mall was a big innovation.
George’s witty humour and caring, friendly manner established the office as a pleasant happy place, both for his staff and more importantly, for his patients. He was always ready to listen to patients and to share a joke or anecdote. His goal was to practice Dentistry in a conservative manner that always placed the individual’s interest first.
In September 1976, Dr Ernie Greenwald joined the office and learned to emulate Dr Jakubovic’s ways of not just treating teeth but looking at the person and trying to do what is best for them.
Although Dr Jakubovic became involved in a family business, he continued to work at least part time in the dental office, until his diagnosis in June 2004. It was a great loss to all of us, when he passed away in November 2007. Dr. Greenwald took over the practice and along with the wonderful staff has continued the tradition of conservative caring dentistry for each person.
